Why to sell lands of Shree Jagannath Puri temple?

Lord Jagannath puri of Orissa holds an enormous respect and is one of the greatest religious places of the great India. It is the house of Lord Jagannath. The temple  is spread  across 57,000 acres of land which is 23 out of 30 districts of the state of Orissa. Of which about 19,000 acres of land  is spread  across Bhubaneswar,  Khurda  and Jami areas. The Bhubaneswar development authorities (BDA) holds a great reputation when it comes to dealing with lands.  A large amount of these lands  is grabbed  away by the miscreants in different areas. Thus the chief secretary G.C.Patil on 16th March,  Tueaday  has directed to protect these lands and construct wall fencing to protect this lands.
